Architectural Salvage Ornaments

Spindles look great shoved in a bucket or hung on the wall, but they also look great as ornaments! Today I’m using architectural salvage to make ornaments. Another project from my 25 Days of Christmas Series.

Architectural salvage ornaments can be made from anything from spindles, to table legs, to finials.

If your salvage is too long, cut it down to size. Using a spindle from an old porch, might get you four or five ornaments depending on how you cut them. Next add a hook or drill a hole for some twine or ribbon. This gives you something to easily hang your ornament from.

Now you are ready to hang it on the tree!
