DIY Wreath Round-Up

Today I am rounding up all of my favorite wreath DIY projects! Wreaths are such a versatile decor piece. Wreaths can be seasonal or neutral. They are perfect for your door, your window, your wall, propped on a shelf, you get the idea! Scroll through and check out my wreath DIY projects, I have some for each season!

Before we get into it, I want to talk about some of my favorite wreath-making tools. First and foremost, you will usually need a wreath form. These are not always a necessity, but they make it so much easier! I always look for wreath forms when I am out thrifting. They are usually a lot cheaper than they would be at a craft store.

TIP: Look for wreath forms when you are out thrifting! They are usually a lot cheaper than they would be at a craft store.

Another useful tool for wreath making is a hot glue gun and plenty of glue! Fishing line and wire can also be used to help keep everything secure. I hope my wreaths inspire you to make your own!

Spring

Easter Egg DIY Wreath

I had a ton of plastic Easter Eggs lying around, but I didn’t know what I could do with them. Then it dawned on me: I could make an Easter Egg Wreath with what I had already. Doing DIY with stuff I already have is one of my favorite things! I also love making different themed wreaths for various holidays, and I know you’ll love making them, too. Learn how to make this wreath HERE.

Sheet Music Wreath

Ephemera is so much fun to collect because it usually doesn’t cost much. It can be hard to figure out how to display your ephemera treasures, and this might be a solution for you! My project is made out of sheet music but you could easily make one out of maps, letters, cookbook pages, pages from books with birds or flowers on them, you get the idea! This DIY is so simple, that you will be out searching for different papers to use! Learn how to make this HERE.

Summer

Garden Hose DIY Wreath

Repurposing and finding a new life for things around my home is one of my favorite things to do. I had several garden hoses that have kinks in them. Those kinks make it super tricky when I’m trying to water my vintage truck filled with flowers. Or, maybe you have an old garden hose that you mowed over? These things have a way of piling up in the garage! Coincidently, while on a pick, I also found some teal hose. As you know, I’m never one to let anything go to waste. So, I made these hose wreaths. See how to make your own garden hose wreath HERE.

Terra Cotta Pot Wreath

I saw cute wreaths made out of little miniature terracotta pots, so I had to hunt down some mini terracotta pots to make my own! This is the perfect project for summer because nothing says summer like terracotta pots filled with flowers or greenery. Can you believe that there was a time when I had trouble selling terracotta pots? Learn how to make your own HERE.

Fall

Corn Stalk DIY Wreath

There is nothing like fall in the midwest! If you live in the country then this DIY will probably be easy since cornstalks have a habit of flying around during harvest. I taught myself a wreath-making technique that you can learn too, it’s super easy! Read the full post and learn how to make your own corn stalk wreath HERE.

Winter

Button DIY Wreath

I love collections and multiples of things! So, this button wreath definitely caught my eye when I was scrolling on Pinterest.  This button project was a part of my 25 Days of Christmas DIY this last year, but honestly, your button wreath can be for any season depending on the color of buttons you choose. This project can also be any size you want, depending on the number of buttons you have! Make a button wreath with me HERE.

Bulb Wreath

Glass bulbs are perfect for holiday decorating. They can add shimmer and shine to more places in your house than just the Christmas tree! I had tons of gold glass bulbs in my shop at the time I made this DIY, and I figured what better way to use them up than to make a glass bulb wreath! This glass bulb wreath is another project from my 25 Days of Christmas DIY from a few years ago. Learn how to make your own glass bulb wreath HERE.

Turn Anything into a DIY Wreath!

I hope this round-up of my past wreath projects has given you a few ideas of ways to make your own. I would encourage you to look around your house at the things you already have and get inspired! Of course, from time to time, you might get tired of making wreaths or maybe you just want something a little more unique! I get it! I have been there. No worries! I have a solution for that too! Read about how embellishments can turn ANYTHING into a festive wreath HERE. These ideas can definitely be applied to items and seasons outside of holiday/winter decor, you just have to get a little creative! I can’t wait to see what you come up with!
