Junk Jubilee Jingles Holiday Antique Show

Sometimes you don’t realize how lucky you are to have such great vintage Christmas in your own back yard! I was reminded of that as I shopped Junk Jubilee Jingles Holiday Antique Show. Junk Jubilee is held twice a year at the Iowa State Fairgrounds in Des Moines, Iowa. But, the November show is extra special as the month of November is the perfect time to merchandise all of the vintage Christmas dealers have been collecting all year!

Vintage Christmas

And, let’s be honest, I’m not even a vintage Christmas fanatic!

Shopping vendors who are vintage Christmas connoisseurs is so fascinating. I often find myself saying how did they find this piece? How is this in such pristine condition? How do they have so many pieces!?

The easiest way for you to see what I’m talking about is for you to go with me!! Go HERE to shop Junk Jubilee Jingles with me!

Whether you are a reseller or a collector, you understand the time and effort people have spent searching for those unique, one of a kind vintage pieces!! And seeing multiple dealers all under one roof is just amazing!

Junk Jubilee is a great place to shop for vintage and antiques. If you aren’t obsessed with vintage Christmas, don’t worry! You can find lots of amazing pieces that are not holiday specific. Clocks, crocks, spool cabinets, plant stands, ladders, stock tanks, primitive corner hutches, chippy bead board cupboards, you can find almost anything large or small at this show.

What I Came Home With

I love so many things and want to bring so many things home with me, but let’s be honest, that is not possible! One it’s not in my budget and two I don’t have enough space in my home! I did buy ONE thing for me, and the rest I bought to resell. SEE what I bought HERE.

big ceramic tree I purchased

This was the piece I came home with and am keeping! It’s HUGE! I bought it from the Brown Lillie booth. The top is broken, but that doesn’t even bother me! It was a great price, $40 and I think I can easily add something to the top as a tree topper to disguise the damage!

Here are a few pieces you might recognize from my HAUL video. These are now available on the website. Click the picture to shop.

Junk Jubilee Jingles Views

Because I was filming for my YouTube channel, I didn’t take very many photographs! Be sure to watch the video to enjoy the atmosphere of the antique show! The pictures I did take were of my friend Brandon of House Things booth. I gave him a quick break and took these while I manned his booth.

I was also lucky and got to spend a little bit of time with my friend Dori of Junk Refunkery. Her booth was amazing and you will see it first in the video. She was the only one I got a picture with!!
