Antique Cast Iron Counter String Holder | Hexagon Base
This cast iron string holder has a hexagon base and the most beautiful bottom. The bottom seems to have been hand made as I can’t find anything like it online. One side has an old paper label that says B. Bogert’s Special with half of it hidden with support pieces. On the reverse side the old advertising is stamped onto the wood and reads A Bogert’s Special. On this side some sections can’t be read because there are little finger holes so you can twist the base on and off to have access to the string.
Approximately 4 1/2″ tall with the base being 6″ x 7″
