Chuck Solberg Wood Fired Vase
This is a beautiful vase signed by Chuck Solberg. Included is an informational paper about how this vase was fired. See the photo for the complete description. Fired in a sagger (a small brick box filled with sawdust, charcoal, fruit rinds, bark and other combustibles.) Salt and copper carbonate are also used in the kiln. So while I labeled this as a vase, it is porous and should be used in combination with a smaller vase placed inside. Please see photos as there may be a couple scratches? These are not cracks that go all of the way through, but just appear to be a little different than the rest of the piece.
Approximately 6 1/2″ tall with the opening approximately 4 1/4″ to 5 1/2″
