Handmade Antique Quilt and Cinnamon Stick Christmas Tree
This beautiful old antique quilt was used to make a simple Christmas tree. Pinking shears were used to cut the antique quilt. One side has blue floral, white and yellow while the other has white and a floral blue, yellow and pink pattern. The two quilt pieces were machine stitched together to leave the pinked ends exposed. Some glue was used to hold the stuffed quilt tree in place on an extra long cinnamon stick. There does appear to be some hardened adhesive at the top of the tree. I’m thinking there may have been a tree topper at one time.
