Vintage Embroidered Chenille Water Lily And Cat Tails Pillow
This beautiful chenille velvet and satin pillow case has been slip stitched shut to make a wall hanging. The bottom stitching could easily be removed to add pillow filling. The hook embroidery scene is of a water lily and cattails in beautiful blues and greens with some cream touches. This had ribbon stitched to the top when I got it to make it a wall hanging, but I remove that. There is some slight damage from those ribbon tabs. The back of this pillow also includes a handmade tag that says Specially Hand Made and Fashioned by Maude Emmons. In photographs you will see one thread that is out.
