This early ice cream hauler came from the Potter Ice Cream Company. This entire set up is very unique and unlike anything regularly seen. The metal canister slides inside of the heavy fabric bag and the lid nests nicely right on top. The bag then folds up over the canister and has two leather straps that come together to create a nice seal as well as two handles making it easy to carry. The entire bag is a heavy woven fabric, similar to the fabric used in army bags. The base of the bag is metal to help keep it upright giving it a sturdy bottom. This would make a great conversation piece or a unique addition to antique collection. Measurements for this are 28″ x 12 1/2″ x 12 1/2″.
