Virtual Flea Market Saturday

#virtualfleamarketSaturday On Instagram! Have you heard about this awesome event? I just participated in my first one for 2022.

Renee with Havenberry Vintage and Jeannette at Life Has Repurpose started #virtualfleamarketSaturday as a way for vintage dealers to get together virtually when they couldn’t get together physically to have an antique sale for all antique and vintage lovers. They knew that everyone was missing these events! None of us were able to meet up with like minded individuals, aka. vintage enthusiasts to hunt for treasures or to sell them to those that would love and cherish them.

So to help solve this issue and bring everyone together, #virtualfleamarketSaturday was created!

Each month they host a sale and rotate amongst other vintage dealers to join them in for the event. I have participated many times over the years and it is always a wonderful event!

I do have available goodies saved to my Instagram Highlights if you want to see what is up for grabs. Remember I do ship!

We always have a great group of vendors and I have gotten to meet so many people that I wouldn’t have otherwise. Social media does have multiple perks!

I have also been blessed to gain new customers with each #virtualfleamarketSaturday event!

When Renee asks me to join them for a particular month I always chuckle because it seems that even if my calendar is clear the day she asks me, somehow the kids always get one or more of their events scheduled on the same day. So often times I am the crazy person walking around with their clip book and staring at their phone during timeouts, between quarters, etc.

Even though it can make for a hectic morning, I wouldn’t change a thing! So, if you follow along with these events and maybe even make a purchase or two, THANK YOU! Believe me we all appreciate to be able to continue doing what we love to do!

This month I created a different look than my “typical” vignettes in that I did quite a bit of colored glass and religious decor. For whatever reason it was calling my name. I have always loved the way the sun lights up colored glass and the framed print of Jesus, the praying hands, crucifix, all tied in nicely with the glass.

It will be a fee months before I get to join these lovely ladies again, but they have #virtualfleamarketSaturday once a month and there is always a great variety of vintage items amongst the dealers!
